Royal Mail Shipping Delays - what's happening?
If you're reading this you are mostly likely experiencing delays with your order and don't know why. Trust us, we're as frustrated as you are, so we thought it would be helpful to explain what's going on.
Since early November, Royal Mail employees have gone on strike nearly every other working day. As a result, orders that would typically take 1–5 days now take several weeks.
Our lovely warehouse manager Christine and her team ship out all orders Mon-Friday from 7am-3pm, meaning most get dispatched on the day, we also use 48hr shipping so under usual circumstances, your parcels would get to you very speedily! However, the recent strikes are causing some parcels to be up to 2-3 weeks late.
Since the items are still in Royal Mail's care and will be delivered after the strikes are over, as per all the relevant info that has been posted on our website since the strikes began, we are unable to process any refunds for undelivered items at this time.
Your tracking code can be checked through our chat system, but you should be aware that Royal Mail are not tracking parcels as usual during the strikes so we know as much about your order as you do!
We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience that Royal Mail may have caused with any orders placed since November. Rest assured, however, that all items will be delivered as soon as possible.
With that being said, we seriously urge you to order your Christmas items as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. If you reach out to us we'll try our best to help, please keep in mind though that we're as sad about this situation as you are and that you're speaking to real people in your emails, so please be kind 💖
